I am Ernest Vitin, a glass artist with a passion for transforming spaces through the ethereal beauty of monumental layered glass sculptures. With over a decade of career in monumental glass art, I have mastered the technique of sheet glass stacking, aka layered glass and established my own style. The delicate yet resilient sculpture embodies a harmonious balance between fragility and enduring strength. My expertise lies in creating large-size bespoke, handcrafted glass sculptures that enhance interior and exterior spaces and evoke a sense of wonder and awe. From time to time, I do work with smaller, table-size pieces, too. It is an exciting exercise and, in a sense - a challenge to step away from monumentality and zoom in on more minor details.

My artistic process begins with a mind-flow analysis, reflection, and documentation of sketches on the chosen topic. I design each layer of glass, accounting for the specific angles and curves that will capture and reflect light most effectively. The layering process is a meticulous dance where precision meets intuition, resulting in sculptures that are not just art objects but immersive experiences.
